I had a PAN copy of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/2022\/E%20V%20Thompson\/MacandPan.htm\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em>&#8216;Harvest of the Sun&#8217;<\/em><\/span><\/strong> <\/a>by E. V. Thompson but it didn&#8217;t give a cover credit but on looking at the same artwork on the hardback edition it gave me a familiar name, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/Blog\/LizMoyes.htm\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Liz Moyes<\/span><\/strong><\/a>. I emailed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/Later%202\/Brian%20Sanders.htm\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Brian Sanders<\/span><\/strong><\/a> to ask if he knew of any other Thompson covers Lizzie might have painted but we drew a bank although he did tell me it was Clare Davies on the right centre cover of Lizzie&#8217;s trilogy. With <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/2022\/E%20V%20Thompson\/MacandPan.htm\"><em><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&#8216;Cassie&#8217;<\/span><\/strong><\/em> <\/a>it was reversed in that the PAN edition named <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/Blog\/Cecil%20Vieweg\/CecilVieweg.htm\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Cecil Vieweg<\/span><\/strong><\/a> while the Macmillan didn&#8217;t but it did have a wrap round cover. Just to complete the set as it were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/2022\/E%20V%20Thompson\/MacandPan.htm\">&#8216;<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/2022\/E%20V%20Thompson\/MacandPan.htm\"><em><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Chase The Wind&#8217;<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/a> credits Gordon Crabb on both editions. I have 20 issues of the E. V. I&#8217;ve put the scan on the same page as the Piccolo edition with the cover by artist Peter Charles of whom we still know nothing apart from he might have been American. This could account for why there are so few covers by him on UK editions. Any PAN Fans in the States know anymore?<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/R.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11862 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/R-222x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"75\" height=\"101\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/R-222x300.jpg 222w, https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/R.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 75px) 100vw, 75px\" \/><\/a><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I like it when I find a cover I haven&#8217;t seen before and this time it was for the 1977 edition of <em><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&#8216;<a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/PANX17.htm\">Raintree County&#8217;<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/em> by David Tayler.
