It was a disappointing area\u00a0as far as second-hand bookshops went but there did seem to be a\u00a0plethora of titles from the <a title=\"Bestsellers Of Literature\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tikit.net\/PAN%202006\/Best%20Sellers\/Best%20Sellers.htm\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&#8220;Bestsellers Of Literature&#8217;<\/span><\/a> series in charity shops.<\/p>\n<p>I\u00a0managed to\u00a0find one connection to the area and PAN Books in that Ian Fleming was stationed in Littlehampton and there is <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a title=\"Ian Fleming\" href=\"http:\/\/www.littlehampton-tc.gov.uk\/main.cfm?type=IANFLEMINGANDTHE30&amp;objectid=2629&amp;searchtermredirect=fleming\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">information<\/span><\/a><\/span> about his time there\u00a0in the museum and another at the <a title=\"Look And Sea Centre\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lookandsea.co.uk\/\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&#8216;Look and Sea&#8217; <\/span><\/span><\/a>centre where I saw, just lying on a windowsill, a PAN copy of <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a title=\"Thrilling Cities Part 1\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tikit.net\/PAN%202010\/PANX332.htm\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&#8216;Thrilling Cities Part\u00a01&#8217; <\/span><\/a><\/span>along with three Granada titles.
