A case in point was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/Totem\/Totem.htm\"><em><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&#8216;The Building of Jalna&#8217;<\/span> <\/strong><\/em><\/a>in a TOTEM addition from Canada. I also got the Beagle edition of &#8216;<em><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/tikit.net\/2023\/A\/ThirdGhost.htm\">The Third Ghost Book&#8217;<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/em> at last so page now shows front and back.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">While looking through later copies of <em><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&#8216;<a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/2023\/B\/AnneFrank.htm\">The Diary of Anne Frank&#8217;<\/a><\/span> <\/strong><\/em>I wondered why I thought I had duplicate copies on the shelf but of course it was because of the subtle differences than makes collecting all variants such a challenge. What I did notice was the prices starting at pre decimal 3\/6 (17.5p), then 4\/0 (20p) and after decimalisation 50p and then a short while later \u00a32.50 which is why it is included.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/WBD25yrs.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-13452\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/WBD25yrs-300x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"182\" height=\"182\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/WBD25yrs-300x300.png 300w, https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/WBD25yrs-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/WBD25yrs-768x768.png 768w, https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/WBD25yrs.png 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 182px) 100vw, 182px\" \/><\/a>Help celebrate &#8216;World Book Day&#8217; this coming Thursday as the event has now being running for a quarter of a century in the UK. Not sure why the UK has it&#8217;s own day as in 1995, UNESCO decided that the &#8216;World Book Day&#8217; would be celebrated on 23 April, as the date is also the anniversary of the death of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/Johnson\/Shakespeare.htm\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>William Shakespeare<\/strong> <\/span><\/a>as well as that of the birth or death of several other prominent authors.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Thanks to<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Pm7tBqP5yZ4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Jules Burt<\/span><\/strong> <\/a>for drawing my attention to Ian&#8217;s Tweet.
