This includes X81 and X80, the first printing of which was incorrectly numbered. Jaffe wrote 17 books of which PAN published 4. She was born in 1931 in New York City and died in London on the 30th December 2005. Jaffe wrote her first book &#8216;<span style=\"color: #800000;\"><em><strong>The Best of Everything<\/strong><\/em><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/2023\/F\/RonaJaffe.htm\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em><strong>&#8216; <\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/a>in 1958 while working as an associate editor at <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Fawcett_Publications\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Fawcett Publications.<\/strong><\/span><\/a> It was adapted into a film starring Joan Crawford also called <strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">&#8216;The Best of Everything&#8217;<\/span><\/strong> in 1959<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Cover-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Cover-1-1024x621.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-13997\" width=\"512\" height=\"311\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Cover-1-1024x621.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Cover-1-300x182.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Cover-1-768x466.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Cover-1-1536x932.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Cover-1.jpg 1540w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 512px) 100vw, 512px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I&#8217;m always pleased to get comment&#8217;s on blogs and especially the latest one regarding <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/2017\/Jas%20E%20McConnell\/McConnell.htm\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">James E McConnell<\/span><\/strong><\/a>. Steve Chibnall&#8217;s book on McConnell is now available to pre-order from <a href=\"https:\/\/telos.co.uk\/shop\/other-non-fiction\/art\/the-art-of-james-e-mcconnell-hb\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Telos Publishing<\/span><\/strong><\/a>. It was for the 1958 edition of <a href=\"https:\/\/tikit.net\/2023\/F\/Polonaise.htm\"><em><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&#8216;Polonaise&#8217;<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/a> by Doris Leslie signed &#8216;Leonard&#8217; and on the back it said D Michael Leonard. I emailed Viv Lawrence who looks after Michael&#8217;s website and he kindly replied with the good news to say <strong><em><span style=\"color: #800000;\">&#8220;Yes, this is a very early Michael Leonard commercial work. I recognise the signature which is how he signed his work at that time. D M Leonard is Douglas Michael Leonard always know as Michael. He would have just left St Martin\u2019s School of Art aged 25. He is still with us but in a care home now being well looked after&#8221;<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Thanks to fellow PAN Fan Stuart Radmore from Upfield&#8217;s adopted country for spotting a couple of errors on my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/2023\/E\/Upfield\/ArthurUpfield.htm\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Arthur Upfield<\/span><\/strong><\/a> page featured in a recent blog. He notice I had included a duplicate edition which has now been removed and also I had not included <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/PAN%202010a\/PANX716.htm\"><strong>X716<\/strong><\/a><\/span>.
