The majority of them have a photographic cover of which I am not that keen but as there was so many of them I have decided I will share them.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/FC.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-17734\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/FC-226x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"166\" height=\"220\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/FC-226x300.jpg 226w, https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/FC.jpg 274w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 166px) 100vw, 166px\" \/><\/a><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/2025\/Novemeber\/TheOs\/FrankOConnor.htm\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Frank O\u2019Connor<\/span><\/strong><\/a><span style=\"font-size: revert;\"> (Michael Francis O&#8217;Donovan) was born in 1903 in <\/span>Cork<span style=\"font-size: revert;\">, County Cork, Ireland and died on March 10, 1966 in Dublin. He was an Irish playwright, novelist, and short-story writer who, as a critic and as a translator of Gaelic works from the 9th to the 20th century, served as an interpreter of Irish life and <\/span>literature<span style=\"font-size: revert;\"> to the English-speaking world.\u00a0<\/span>Raised in poverty, a childhood he recounted in\u00a0<strong><em><span style=\"color: #800000;\">An Only Child<\/span><\/em>,<\/strong>\u00a0O\u2019Connor received little formal education before going to work as a librarian in Cork and later in\u00a0Dublin.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/SC.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-17739\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/SC-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"147\" height=\"220\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/SC-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/SC.jpg 334w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 147px) 100vw, 147px\" \/><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/2025\/Novemeber\/TheOs\/SeanOCasey.htm\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Sean O&#8217;Casey<\/span><\/strong><\/a><span style=\"font-size: revert;\"> (John Casey) was born 30th March 1880 in Dublin and died 18 September 1964 in Torquay. He was an Irish dramatist and was the first Irish playwright of note to write about the Dublin working classes.\u00a0 O&#8217;Casey&#8217;s first accepted play, <\/span><\/span><em><strong><span style=\"font-size: revert; color: #800000;\">&#8216;The Shadow of a Gunman&#8217;<\/span><\/strong><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: revert;\">\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\">was performed at the Abbey Theatre in 1923. While in London to supervise the West End production of<\/span> <em><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">&#8216;Juno and the Paycock&#8217;<\/span> <\/strong><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\">O&#8217;Casey fell in love with Eileen Carey (stage name). The couple were married in 1927 and remained in London until 1938 when they moved to Totnes.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/EC.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-17740\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/EC-229x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"168\" height=\"220\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/EC-229x300.jpg 229w, https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/EC.jpg 304w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 168px) 100vw, 168px\" \/><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/2025\/Novemeber\/TheOs\/Sean.htm\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Eileen O&#8217;Casey<\/span><\/strong><\/a><span style=\"font-size: revert;\"> (Eileen Kathleen Reynolds) born in Dublin on the 27th December 1900, She attended the Brentwood Ursuline Convent High School and having read <em><strong><span style=\"color: #800000;\">&#8216;Juno and the Paycock&#8217; <\/span><\/strong><\/em>she developed an obsessive need to meet the author. She met O&#8217;Casey when 17 years his junior, and he immediately invited her to take the role of Nora Clitheroe in <\/span><\/span><em><strong><span style=\"font-size: revert; color: #800000;\">&#8216;The Plough and the Stars&#8217;<\/span><\/strong><\/em><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: revert;\"> for its first London production. The O&#8217;Caseys married on the 23rd September 1927 in the Catholic church of &#8216;All Souls and the Redeemer&#8217; in Chelsea.
