The vehicle\u00a0was excellent, it was just the lack of second hand bookshops that spoilt the trip. I visited the two I knew of in Much Wenlock and found an interesting looking one in Cleobury Mortimer with the helpful sign in the window &#8220;We are open sometimes&#8221; It was closed!<br \/>\nFollowing\u00a0on from a blog of <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a title=\"Scotney Castle\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/2012\/07\/03\/not-too-posh-at-scotney-castle\/\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">July 2012<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>I did\u00a0find PAN Books in another historic venue namely <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a title=\"Wightwick Manor\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nationaltrust.org.uk\/wightwick-manor\/\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Wightwick Manor\u00a0<\/span><\/a><\/span> The house belonged to the Mander (Paints) family and has a fine collection of arts and crafts paintings, glass and ceramics plus furnishings by William Morris but it was in the Day Nursery I spotted something much more valuable on the top shelf of a bookcase namely 4 PAN titles.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Nusery.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1814\" alt=\"Nusery\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Nusery.jpg\" width=\"983\" height=\"738\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Nusery.jpg 983w, https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/Nusery-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 983px) 100vw, 983px\" \/><\/a>The 4 titles are GP33 &#8216;Boldness Be My Friend&#8217;, 397 &#8216;The Last Enemy&#8217;, GP76 &#8216;Squadron Airborne&#8217; and 273 &#8216;The Colditz Story&#8217;<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just back from a\u00a0six day tour of Shropshire to try out our new motorhome.
