The problem arises as to which one as PAN actually published nine variations over the years from 1958 to at least 1974 with some as PANs, some as Pipers and one for Golden Wonder crisps. Later versions became amalgamations of the first and second books. Click <a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tikit.net\/Wilton\/PartyGames.htm\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">HERE<\/span><\/a> to see all the versions I&#8217;ve found so far.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> <a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Image1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-3489\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Image1.jpg\" alt=\"Image1\" width=\"217\" height=\"219\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Image1.jpg 254w, https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Image1-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 217px) 100vw, 217px\" \/><\/a>Joseph Edmundson, according to the cover blurb, was Director of Physical Education at the London Polytechnic and was an expert of many branches of entertainment and the author of <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tikit.net\/PAN%20Piper\/PANXP19.htm\">&#8216;The PAN Book of Health&#8217; <\/a><span style=\"color: #000000;\">PAN did publish another book of party games but under the Piccolo imprint but this was not by Edmundson but by Deborah Manley and Peta Ree <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/PartyGamesPic.jpg\">&#8216;The Piccolo Book of Party Games&#8217;<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I was watching &#8216;O What I lovely War&#8217; when I noticed in the credits the name <a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.tikit.net\/Advertising\/CharlesChilton.htm\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Charles Chilton <\/span><\/a>and found it was the same\u00a0writer as featured in a previous blog. There is also a connection in that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tikit.net\/Later%202\/Brian%20Sanders.htm\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Brian Sanders<\/span> <\/a>painted the original film poster as well as many PAN covers.
