Both Julia and Axel received a &#8216;Golden PAN Award&#8217; for sales of a million copies plus scrolls for further sales of a million copies of other titles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/gruffalo.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7077\" width=\"291\" height=\"168\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/gruffalo.jpg 491w, https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/panfans\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/gruffalo-300x173.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 291px) 100vw, 291px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Having met Julia and Alex at the 70th Anniversary party for PAN where they were given the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tikit.net\/PAN%2070th\/Final\/7oth.htm\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong> &#8216;Golden PAN Awards&#8217;<\/strong><\/span><\/a> I&#8217;m really pleased for them as they were very friendly and Julia even held up my card albeit upside down. It is <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>&#8216;<a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/tikit.net\/2019\/Green.htm\">Green City in the Sun&#8217;<\/a><\/strong> <\/span>by Barbara Woods and I have two copies(?) both dated 1989 but one has the PAN Man logo on the from cover, the other doesn&#8217;t while the first copy doesn&#8217;t have a logo on the spine the other does.
