I have a friend who has a Juliette Benzoni dedicated site and having seen my illustrators page has decided to start one you may be hearing from her about the Catherine series.
Saw your comment about the curious public lavatories where walls were papered with Pan book covers, couldn’t find the Angélique (thank goodness not something I would wish to replicate) but was seriously disturbed to see the haunted face of Anne Frank which leapt out at me.
Noticed you’ve attributed one of the Angéliques to j oval (can’t find the link now) which I think belongs to the Michael Atkinson set – just an observation I could be wrong.
I know it’s not related but have you seen the new Angélique Maga books – they are beautiful!
